Voice commands

Point up, then say a short command. Speech is recognized on the phone only.

  1. On Home or in the gesture camera, point one finger up. A listening chip appears for about 5 seconds.

  2. Say a command. On Home: "next", "previous", "play", "pause", "open camera". In the camera: "take a photo", "start recording", "stop", "zoom in", "what is this" and more.

  3. The first time, AirFlick AI asks for the microphone. Audio is never saved or sent; there is no online fallback.

  4. Setup shows whether this phone has on-device speech recognition. Without it (or on Android 11 and older), voice commands say they are unavailable.
